I'm a Seattle-based communications specialist, editor and writer with significant experience creating successful multi-channel content programs for publications and nonprofits – always with a focus on powerful story telling and outcomes.
Using goals and analytics as guideposts, I’ve developed strategic communications programs, built email marketing programs, project-managed website redesigns and created a brand ambassador program. I've managed robust editorial calendars and written and edited a multitude of compelling copy: how-to articles, travel listicles, longform features, food reviews, news articles, advertisements, blog posts, newsletters and reader-generated content (one of my favorite forms).
In 2018, I published my first book, a family-oriented Seattle guidebook titled "52 Seattle Adventures With Kids." Working with ParentMap. the publisher, I designed the concept and content from start to finish, curating the work of 19 writers, writing significant chunks of the book myself and project-managing the design process.
Here are a few of the recent professional positions I’ve held.
